My name is Samrica Kate Sankay Zogar. I was born and raised in west Africa, Liberia. I was born with a deformity and am still living with disability today. Growing up in Liberia with my condition made Life tough for me. However, I pushed through my limitations to become educated; I learned to read and write, and to network making my way around. My journey has inspired and empowered me; through enlightenment, I became aware that social issues about people living with disabilities must be addressed. Now, I am an advocate for people living with disabilities. I am an aspiring model, a social media influencer, entrepreneur, and most importantly, I am a mother. I am proud of my life today as I continue to break down barriers to stay positive in every way possible. I want the world to hear my story that people living with disabilities should not be isolated from society nor should they conform to the constraints of society. That there is no limit to what one can be! As an advocate, I stand true to my mission to bring awareness and empower those living with disabilities. Most sincerely, I must bring awareness to those living without disability to be concerned with the social issues that stifle the lives of the disability community especially in Africa where people lack empathy.
